About Me
Hello!
My name is Ava and I am 21 years old, graduating this year with a BA Filmmaking degree at The Northern Film School, based in Leeds UK.
Growing up on the Isle of Man, I have been completely obsessed with the arts - specifically film, painting and theatre - since I was very little. Through specialising as a film production designer at university, I have continued to maintain and expand on my passion for visual arts and design, with aspirations to hopefully work with fine artists in some capacity, and/or in an art gallery one day!

Industry Experience
Multiple different experiences working in various creative industries, through both paid and unpaid volunteer work placements, means I am adaptable and flexible to working in all kinds of creative environments, and genuinely have a huge enthusiasm and ambition towards doing so!
Creative Curation and Design
My experiences in both The Northern Film School as a production designer and my work in Leeds Industrial Museum doing exhibition curation means I have continued to improve my skills in curation in an artistic sense, in the art of planning and designing for a physical space, and in overall visual design.
Collaboration and Teamwork
Demonstrating this across multiple industries and creative sectors, I love to work as part of a collective in order to achieve a shared creative vision, helping to communicate ideas and work together to collaboratively bring art and visual storytelling to life.
